Terms of Service
Last updated: [date]
These terms apply to the TouchMenu software and to subscriptions bought on this website. "We" means [business name], [address]. "You" means the business that buys a subscription.
1. The software
TouchMenu is desktop software for Windows that lets a restaurant's guests view the menu and order from their own phones over the restaurant's local network. You install and run it on your own computer.
2. Licence
A subscription gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software on one computer at a time, for your own business, while the subscription is active. You may not copy the software to other computers, resell it, rent it out, or try to get around the licence check.
3. Plans, payment and renewal
Plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. Our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, processes payments and is the merchant of record for your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the software keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
4. Your data
Your menus, orders and records are stored on your own computer. You are responsible for that computer, its backups and your guests' use of your network. See our Privacy Policy.
5. Availability and support
We work to keep the software reliable and to provide updates and support, but we can't promise that it will be free of errors or suit every situation. The software needs a working computer and local network to operate.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the software before it takes effect.
